Anchoring

In this video, I anchored a "morning update" news cast. In this, I wrote the script that got put into the teleprompter as well as worked on my enunciations, pitched words, and voice for on-air.

Below is a link to my script if you would like to read it!

Weather Wall

In this video, I did weather! Before I went on-air, I researched the impact of the weather that would hit my area, West Alabama, for that day and the few days after that.  I also made sure I hit safety precautions for driving, schools, etc.

Field Reporting

In this video, I reported over Hurricane Ian. Before I went on-air, I researched the impact of the hurricane and who it was affecting as well as if it would hit my area.  When I went on-air I memorized the parts i needed to say on camera and made sure my information and the tone I was using to perceive the information was accurate.

Sports Field Reporting

In this video, I reported over sports! In this video, I wrote the script which involved intense research because I truly do not understand sports. I also picked a nice spot to do the on-camera reporting as well as making sure I made the reporting valid to my area.

Mock News Cast

In this video, I got the opportunity to be an anchor in a mock news cast with the help of WVUA23. This news cast was a redo of the previous show WVUA23 did the night before.

Broadcast Journalism

During my time at the University of Alabama, I had the opportunity to participate in on-camera work. Below are some of the on-camera work I have done along with the scripts I wrote for them as well.
