Sports Directing 2024
I have been at KNOE 8 News for over a year. I have directed and helped produced many newscasts over my time here, but sports? That comes with a whole lot of trust. Below is my second year doing sports newscast and covering our statewide Friday Night and Saturday Night Blitz.
Week 6 of Saturday Night Blitz
This is the SIXTH night of Saturday Night Blitz. During the 10 p.m we show highlights of local college teams and preview a few things of our local NFL team as well as highlights from the SECOND game from the Monroe Moccasins hockey team. Below is just the first segment of our 3 segment sports show.
Week 6 of Friday Night Blitz
This is the SIXTH night of high school football! We have a big match up between multiple schools in our area as well as the FIRST night of hockey back in the Bayou!

This is the SIXTH night of high school football! The 6pm shows a preview of just what our team gets into for our Northeast Louisiana teams! As well as looking into the new and improved Monroe Moccasins hockey team that is back in the Bayou after 23 years.
Thursday Night Football: October 10, 2024
This is a look at our Thursday newscast where we made it a little more creative than normal. I figured out ow to split screen the SLAM monitor to have 2 graphics in at the same time and then take our sports reporter in the monitor at certain point.
