Hey love!
Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Sierra Fletcher. I am a Technical Media Producer at KNOE8 News. I have been working here since January of 2023. Since working here I have done numerous amounts of duties, like, coding shows in ENPS, directing shows, learning how to direct sportscasts, edit videos in EDIUS, write scripts and teases for the newscasts, as well as doing master control operator duties.
Previously, I was an undergrad student at the University of Alabama. I was studying News Media with a minor in General Business and a concentration in sports.

I was born in Abilene, Texas but my dad was in the U.S. Army and ever since I was little I moved around a whole bunch. With that being said, I never really had a chance to call a place "my home." However, I do feel that the place that helped me form into the thriving woman I am today is Savannah, GA.

I was currently an intern at WVUA 23 News working in production. I also became the assistant technical director during the 10pm shows 3 months into my internship.

Thanks to for the lovely opportunity at WVUA 23 News and getting so much experience, I am now doing a job I love and have wanted a career in for as long as I can remember.

All About Yours Truly!
Ever since I was a little girl reading, writing, and anything creative was all I ever did. All throughout high school and even middle school I helped my friends and fellow classmates fix essays and even tutored them in English.

After high school I went to Savannah Technical College where I got my associates degree in Business Management. Within my time at STC I got my certifications in Human Resources, Entrepreneurship, and Veterans at Work: Human Resources.

After I graduated STC I went to the University of Alabama to get my bachelors to get a degree in something that I really wanted to pursue in.

The two years that I have been here at UA was a great experience. I got to connect with amazing people, experience different roles, and got to really see what sparked my interest.

When I graduate from UA, I have decided to pursue further into my education and get my masters degree at the University of Texas in Austin, where I will attend classes (hopefully) within the coming year(s).

My life outside of work!
Throughout most of my life it has been nothing but, school and work. I had my first job when I was 17 and have been continuing my job career ever since. With that I have found things that I loved doing and hated doing. Life can't all be about work or you'll never enjoy the life you have.

Back in 2018 I had this great idea to start going to the gym. I was going 3-4 days a week starting out and was a "cardio bunny" as people call it. However, that started getting boring, so I was thinking "i don't want to be a skinny, scrawny girl my whole life; especially if I'm moving a lot for jobs and things of that nature." With that I picked up the weights and 7 years in I'm still doing it. When I started I had 0 muscle and wasn't the strongest, now I am 24 and mainly muscle. With that I am actively researching and trying to get into competitions.

Another hobby of mine is reading. I love love love reading. It is one of my favorite past times. In my home I have my own little library, and books in every section of the house. I started reading when I was around the age of 3 years old and ever since then I never stopped. If anyone ever asks me what I want for birthday's or Christmas the first thing I bring up is the book I really want... or my nails done.

Another hobby I really enjoy is gaming. I didn't start getting into video games until I was 13/14 years old. I started off played Call of Duty 2 and to this day, it is hands down my favorite COD. However, over the years I have leaned into more of adventure games like Red Dead Redemption, God of War, and Elden Ring.
